📦 Shipping
Sit N Shop handles all buyer-facing shipping on behalf of our sellers. Once your order is confirmed, we aim to dispatch within 1–2 business days. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your item is on its way.
We offer standard and express delivery options across the UK, with costs and estimated delivery times displayed at checkout. At present, we ship within the UK only — if you have a query about international delivery, please contact us.
As a consignment marketplace, all items are dispatched directly from Sit N Shop — buyers do not deal with individual sellers. This ensures a consistent, premium experience for every order. If you have any questions about your delivery, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Data retention: We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.

⚖️ Fair Use
Sit N Shop's seller plans — particularly our Diamond tier — are designed to offer generous, flexible consignment terms. To ensure fairness for all sellers and to maintain the quality of our marketplace, the following fair use guidelines apply:
- Item limits: Diamond plan sellers may submit items on an unlimited basis, subject to a maximum of 50 items per intake batch. Larger deliveries require prior approval.
- Item quality: All items must meet our minimum condition and category standards. Sit N Shop reserves the right to decline items that do not meet these standards, regardless of plan tier.
- Stock review: Items unsold after 90 days are subject to a stock review. You will be contacted to arrange collection, re-pricing, or donation.
- Minimum resale value: Items must meet a minimum resale value threshold to be accepted. This ensures our marketplace remains premium and relevant to buyers.
- Abuse of service: Sit N Shop reserves the right to suspend or downgrade a seller account where usage is deemed to be in bad faith, excessive beyond reasonable commercial use, or in breach of these guidelines.

🔄 Returns
We want every buyer to shop with confidence at Sit N Shop. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.
Buyer returns: You may return an item within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition as received — unused, unaltered, and with any original packaging or tags intact. To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return.
Refunds: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
Consignment items: Because our items are consigned by individual sellers, we assess each return carefully. Returns accepted due to a misdescription or condition issue will be investigated, and the relevant seller account may be reviewed.
Non-returnable items: Certain items may be marked as non-returnable at the point of listing (e.g. intimate apparel, pierced jewellery, or items sold as faulty). This will always be clearly stated on the product page.

💷 Payout Policy
As a Sit N Shop seller, you earn a percentage of the final sale price of each item, determined by your active seller plan tier (Free, Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Diamond). Here's how payouts work:
When you get paid: Payouts are processed once a sold item has been dispatched to the buyer and the 30-day return window has closed without a return being raised. This ensures payouts are only issued on confirmed, completed sales.
How you get paid: Payouts are issued via bank transfer or PayPal on the last working day of each month, provided the 30-day return window for the sale has closed. If a return window is still open at the end of the month, that item's payout will roll over to the following month's payment run. You'll receive a payout summary detailing each item sold and the fee deducted.
Fees: Sit N Shop deducts a final-value fee from each sale in line with your plan. Your net payout rate is confirmed when you sign up or upgrade your plan. No hidden charges are applied.
Payout tracking: A full breakdown of your sales, fees, and payouts is available via your seller dashboard. If you believe there is a discrepancy in your payout, please contact us within 14 days of the payout date.
Unclaimed payouts: If we are unable to process your payout due to incorrect bank details or inactivity, we will hold funds for up to 90 days and attempt to contact you. After this period, unclaimed funds may be forfeited.
